President and Founder
Ken is the President and Founder of Tenzing Insurance Strategies, and he has over 27 years of experience in the life insurance industry. Prior to founding his own firm in 2006, Ken worked for ten years with M Financial Group member firms in New York City and Boston. Before that, Ken worked as an agent for Connecticut Mutual Life and as a consultant for Mercer Consulting in their New York headquarters.
Ken is very active in industry and community organizations. Ken is a member of the M Financial Government Affairs Committee and he served for 6 years on the Board of Directors of the Boston Estate Planning Council, where he also chaired several committees. He is a member of the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting (AALU) and is a member of the AALU Estate Tax Working Group. His is also a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and the Society of Financial Service Professionals, where he served on the Boston chapter’s board of directors.
Ken graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 1990, and for several years he has been a member of the Finance Advisory Board of the URI College of Business. He holds the designations of Accredited Estate Planner®, Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).
Ken, his wife and three children live in Wellesley, MA.
